Drastically Changing

It has almost been another year and a half since I last blogged. So you can shouldn't expect to hear from me for another 18 months. I am a few weeks shy of finishing my first year of college. Life has changed drastically since I last blogged.

I am at East Central University, playing golf as undecided major. I decided to stay closer to home and I got a good scholarship here. I am completely undecided about what I would like to major in. Just this school year I have wanted to be
  • a teacher
  • an accountant
  • a physical therapist
  • a chiropractor
  • a personal trainer
  • a golf coach
  • a dental hygenist
  • an engineer
and now I want to be a charity event planner! It's safe to say that I have no clue what I want to be. BUT I have decided what I will be doing next year.......

I AM GOING TO SERVE A MISSION!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't be more excited about this new journey in my life. I have been praying about it since October (I didn't want to just go because that's what everyone else is doing, I really wanted to decide for myself). I have wanted to serve a mission my entire life, but no one ever thought that I would make it to 21 without getting marired, but the age got changed to 19 and BAM! I am going to serve The Lord! I don't know where or when I will go, hopefully this fall. But I do now that it will be exactly where I need to be! I am in love with missionary work and I can't wait to spend 18 months of my life serving The Lord!

I truly have a testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me very much. I know that the priesthood has been restored to this earth and that it will never be gone again. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet of God and that he has apostles to help lead and guides us today. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of the gospel, along with the Bible. I know that Joseph Smith restored the church in these latter days. I am grateful for the knowledge that I have of the truthfulness of the gospel and I cannot wait to share it with others.

I don't know exactly what the future has in store for me, but I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me. I just need to keep living my life the way I know it should be lived. :)

Senior Year

So its been a year and a half since I last blogged. Its safe to say that I am an awful blogger. Here is a quick recap of the last few months of my life.
This summer I went to lots of camps, EFY, Youth Conference, Girls State, and Girsl camp. All my camps were way fun. I loved the spiritual parts of my summer. It was a good last high school summer. Now its my senior year. I am half way through. I can't believe I am almost in college. Southern Utah has already accepted me into their college and now I am just waiting to find out if Brigham Young accepts me. I have not decided which school I am going to go to. BYU has always been my dream school but lately I have felt like I need to go to SUU. Maybe there is a reason that I should go to SUU. I have gotten my senior pictures taken and my graduation announcements made. My first semester of my senior year I made 6 A's and 1 B, in chemistry II. My sister has also gotten engaged and will be getting married on March 3 of this coming year. I am stocked for golf season. My goal is to do as better than I did last year. I would love for my team and I to be state champions. I either want to be an Algebra teacher or an accountant. I love math and I want to have a job that requires me to interact with other people. I plan on just taking my first two years to get my basics and then decide on my degree. I have so many blessings in my life. I am grateful for my loving family and all my amazing friends. I just can't wait to see what kind of things Heavenly Father has in store for me in my life.

Newborn Blogger

I am just starting out in this blogging thing. I want to keep up with my sisters as they go off to college 18 hours away from home. My sister Jena is going to be in college in Virginia and my other sister Tara will be going back to Utah. For them I hope I get addicted to blogging all the time. I do have mixed feelings about my new adventure. I am excited and nervous.

I am excited to get to know all about my family in Utah and Arizona and have a way for them to know what is going on with me while I am in high school. I am also nervous that I am going to make a really cute blog and then you will never hear from me again because I will forget all about it.

Oh well we will see what happens. :)
